Exporting the Closed Caption Text of a Clip¶
To export only the Closed Caption of a clip to a text file, in the Export column click the CC icon.

Observer gives you the option to open the file, save the file, save the file as, or save and open the file.

These options function as described below:
Open opens the CC text of your clip in your default .txt editor.

Save places a .txt file of your CC content in the Downloads folder of your computer with a file name of “cctext”.
Save as opens the dialog window that allows you to rename the file and save it in the location of your choice.

Save and open saves the CC text as a .txt file in your Downloads folder and opens the file in your default text editor.
