Channel Viewer Tab

The viewer tab gives you access to the Channel Dashboard, which lists all the video channel(s) to which you have been allowed access by the local MIP administrator. Clicking the triangle to the right of the Channels heading expands/contracts the channel pane. For quick access to a particular video channel, click the checkbox beside the desired channel. MIP will open that stream in the Player Window.

The Filter feature at the top of the Dashboard provides a quick way to restrict the channel display by typing in the desired channel name into the Filter text box. MIP then displays channels that match the typed string. You do not need to enter the entire channel name.

To define a channel favorite hover over the favorite icon image to the right of the desired channel and left click to turn it gold image. Left clicking toggles it back to grey.

The Player Window, which initially shows up as a large gray space, is the frame where video is displayed after selecting channels from the dashboard section. When you view video in the Player Window, MIP automatically displays that video in the correct aspect. Any subsequent video streams you open will automatically adjust and resize within the Media Intelligence Player window while always maintaining the correct aspect ratio.
